Defenders of the Eastern Slopes are committed to protecting the water, trees and wildlife of the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains, the vulnerable area from the Continental Divide east, providing the water across the Prairies or north to the Arctic, and everyone downstream. The mission is to preserve the delicate, lifegiving systems, natural beauty of the Eastern Slopes and ensure the sustainability of its ecosystems for future generations.
